Things that will help you have a happy marriage and a loving relationship.

Marriage is the will of God between one man and one woman: 
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:21-25.

1. God must be first in your relationship, He created and knows both of you, spend time in prayer together seeking God for spiritual guidance in your marraige.
2. Read the word of God for a clear understanding of how to treat each other. Remember, Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 1 Corinthian 13:4-6
3. Keep Communication alive in your relationship,talk with each other and share together and work things out in love.
4. Trust- is a must without mutual trust you will only be on a fast trip going no where and your love will not last.
5. Respect- listen to each others point of view, and respect each others thoughts and ideas, learn what works and what is not working, and show sincere kindness for each other at all times.
6. Passion- you are in a marriage because you love each other, and 30% of that love is the passion, so share it between yourselves, it keeps the fire of love burning and closeness is assured so that others cannot come between you. Read 1 Cornthians 7 together and apply it to your marriage.
7. Commitment- There must be a willingness to work our your differences between you. You can only grow closer if you are willing to work out your problems and stay together. Don't be fooled thinking the grass is greener on the other side. It's now commit to each other and take your marriage as a journey one day at a time.
8. Worship- Take time for God, go to Church, fellowship and worship with the people of God, seek our married people that have good relationships, seek spiritual guidance from God, also remember you are a couple now and your friends should be married couples. It will be hard to stay in a healthy relationship if you run around with your single friends.
