WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?

WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH iT?

We have all heard that line many times, and many of us have watched Ike and Tina in the movie "What's Love Got To Do With It."

Love is a very powerful word with many meanings, the questions today is do you understand how important love is in your relationship with God, your family, and the world around you? The word "eros" Desire - To possess the object of one’s love. Of the worthy, attractive, beautiful nature, or what we call physical love or a feeling we have for another person. Love is not what you feel, Love is what you first know, and decide to do.

"eros" is also the love God has for us, but it's much more than what He felt for us. " God's love for us began many years ago when God spoke these words in Genesis Chapter 1: 26, " And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:" this is when God's love for man started, and has continued for thousands of years.

God loved the world irrespective of its merit to deserve His love; for while we were enemies, God reconciled us to Himself (Rom 5:10); while we were sinners and living in opposition to His will, He died for us (Rom 5:8); while we hated God, He loved us and poured out His wrath upon Christ that should have been our due (I John 4:10).

God created you just to give us His divine love, for you to first love Him, and develop this love, and give it to your family, and then those you meet and greet along this journey of life. "God is love" 1 John 4:16.

The love of God demonstrated in the cross and beyond the cross to believers is primarily agape. Indeed, the love of God expressed to the unsaved by the way of the cross is only ever agape until the individuals respond to Him in repentance and faith. So you ask "What's Love Got To Do With It?" Answer: Everything.

Without a God who love us, we would not be here today.
Growing up in Church we always sang "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. What a powerful song, with such reassuring promise of God's love in His Son Jesus. You are the "eros" love of God's heart, created for Him to love you and give you the kingdom here in the earth, Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are not loved. " Today you need to know that," Yes Jesus Loves Me, For The Bible Tells Me So."
